Some of you may have noticed the web address of this blog and wondered about the 'philomenarocks' part. Well, Saint Philomena is my patroness and an incredible saint. She's a 13 year old virgin martyr from the early church who gives us a bold witness of faith, courage, chastity, and sanctity (among other virtues).
