Did you know that each month the Holy Father asks the world to pray for two specific intentions, one general and one missionary? Here are his intentions for the month of August:General Intention: “That World Youth Day in Madrid may encourage young people throughout the world to have their lives rooted and built up in Christ”.
Mission Intention: “That Western Christians may be open to the action of the Holy Spirit and rediscover the freshness and enthusiasm of their faith”.
Let us join the Holy Father in praying for these intentions.
